Information For New Corporate Clients
We welcome orders and enquiries from new business customers all the time. We will of course need to satisfy ourselves that you are a legitimate company and we will also need you to supply your contact and delivery details. (Please see our Privacy Statement for assurances about the safe handling of this information.). Once we have established these details, the next steps are:
1. Placing an Order
You may place an order by phone, Fax or email, whichever method is most convenient to you. It is helpful for us if you quote the product codes on all orders placed (you will find these on your copy of our current products and price list which will be sent to you upon application). We endeavor to ship all orders (received before 12 noon) on the same day unless the order requires any special handling and/or preparation. We prefer not to ship orders on Fridays as this avoids the goods being delayed and stored in a warehouse during the weekend.
2. Payment
Initially, payment is strictly on a proforma basis. Once we have established a mutually satisfactory trading history, we may be able to offer extended credit terms. We only accept payment in Pounds Sterling, please see our Payments page for more details on payment.
3. Carriage
All orders are subject to a carriage fee (at cost) – this depends primarily on the weight and destination of each shipment. However, if you are able to negotiate a better deal with your own carrier you are welcome to do so. In this case, we do not charge a carriage fee. If you do opt to use your own carrier, we will notify you when your order is ready and leave it to you to send your carrier to collect your goods from our premises.
4. VAT
All U.K. orders are subject to VAT at the standard rate (this is currently 17.5%). Orders from non UK companies are processed in accordance with their own National taxation regulations.
5. Labels
We can supply our goods to you on our own label, we can supply the goods unlabelled or you may send your own labels to us and we will attach these to your goods free of charge. If you opt to supply your own labels, these will need to be supplied in advance of your order. It is wise to supply sufficient labels for more than your current order; this will probably save you in carriage charges and it will also enable us to build stocks for you in advance, thus minimizing delivery delays.
6. Use of Plastics Colours and Other Details
We can offer a range of plastics colours for your products where appropriate. We will endeavor to provide you with a best possible match in keeping with any corporate colour schemes you may have. Please note however, if it is necessary to develop new, non-stock, items for your order, there may be an additional charge to pay. This matter is best discussed before you place your initial order.
